  The 2020 Airstream Caravel 22FB is the largest of the Caravel line of travel trailers. The other three floor plans in the line are the 16RB, the 19CB, and the 20FB. The 22FB has a layout like the Bambi 22FB with a few more upscale features as well as a full eight feet of interior width. Like the Bambi and the smaller Caravel models, the Caravel 22FB has the classic lines and mirror exterior finish that makes it unmistakably an Airstream.

  A Panoramic View From Your Bed

  At the end of your day, find relaxation gazing at the night sky through the panoramic windows as you recline on the pillowtop memory foam mattress. Simply pull the blackout shades when you are ready to go to sleep for the night. There is a shelf with a locker for storage at the head of the bed. Additional storage in the bedroom is found beneath the bed. If you need additional sleeping space, the U-shaped dinette can be converted for that purpose.

  Let’s Get Cooking

  Directly across from the U-shaped dinette is the kitchen area. Whip up some popcorn or another quick snack in the convection microwave oven, or cook your dinner on the three-burner gas stove. When it’s time to clean up, the deep basin stainless steel sink with a Moen faucet is the ideal tool. Store your cold items in the 4.5 cubic foot, 12-volt compressor-style refrigerator.

  Wash Off the Day’s Grit in the Rear Bathroom

  The bathroom in the 2020 Airstream Caravel 22FB is located across the back of the trailer. You’ll find a large counter with storage underneath as well as a porcelain style toilet and shower. The shower in this model features a glass shower door as opposed to the accordion door on the same size Bambi model. Conveniently located directly outside the bathroom is the wardrobe with hanging space for clothing.

  Enjoy Outdoor Living

  The Caravel 22FB features an awning with Sunbrella fabric to protect you from the elements if you choose to extend your living space out of doors. There is also an available window awning package that shades the other windows from the sun. If your adventures leave you dusty and grimy you can rinse off beneath the outdoor shower before going inside for the evening.
